Space the Final Frontier absolutely; when in Florida renting one of our vacation rentals or holiday villas in Formosa Gardens Estates close to Disney, you have to set some time aside to go and see NASA Kennedy Space Center.
When people say have you seen a launch, we have to say yes multiple times, five shuttle take-offs, and multiple others, including SpaceX. It’s awesome to see physics and engineering in real-life.
For example, you see the light and the rocket move, then a second or two later, you hear it… totally amazing.
Was an honor to be at the launch of the first shuttle flight after the Challenger disaster. We all were silent at the amazing “go with throttle up” moment.. took about 6 hours to get to Kissimmee that night back as there were so many people.
We were supposed to be at the landing of Columbia as we had not seen many landings, but we were late getting up was a sad day.
The new Atlantis exhibition is amazing, just history in real-life. Saturn 5 exhibition is special to see the size and scale of the rocket they built in the 1960s or 1970s that carried people to the Moon. and the new Gateway "Discover the current and upcoming cutting-edge space exploration innovations from NASA and their commercial partners. Then enter the future spaceport and launch aboard one of four unforgettable journeys to distant worlds on an immersive ride."
