HISTORY

We recognize that you have a few choices for your vacation rental, so we thought it worthwhile to tell you a bit about us and why we’re different. 

We started in the short-term vacation rental market in 1999, when we purchased our first property while on honeymoon next to Walt Disney World. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted others to share the experience! Since then, we’ve built a portfolio of exclusive short-term vacation rental properties in Florida and California. Together with a small handpicked support team, we strive to give all of our guests the perfect 5-star vacation experience, backed by a friendly and attentive 5-star service.

We founded Aunger Rentals LLC DBA Aunger Vacation Homes (AungerVacationHomes.com) and Formosa Gardens Estates (FormosaGardensEstates.com) in 2020 as the Aunger family-owned and operated businesses by Jo and Charlie. We rent and manage only the homes that we own. a husband and wife team who own and manage our own homes - we’re not an agency or management company! - and we genuinely try to give you the best experience rental we can.

We’re here to help with any questions, special requests, or general advice… you’ll always deal with us, the property owners.  We have varying professional backgrounds, project management and hospitality talents, and specialist skills in technology. Between our support team and us, we pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of service both in the interactions with people and with the care of our homes.

That's why we work hard to make sure everything is ready for your arrival.
